A clear view of Leguan

Leguan viewed from VergenoegenThe island of Leguan in the Essequibo river can be clearly seen from the Vergenoegen seawall. In this photograph one can see the eastern tip of the island – an area known as Dauntless which has been suffering significant erosion in recent years. Leguan is the third largest of the 365 islands in the Essequibo river.
